Elwood King Obituary

Elwood “Shine” King, 86, of LaGrange passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at his home.

He loved dancing, riding and working with horses, and western movies.

Elwood is preceded in death by his parents, Kirby and Isabelle Howard King.

He is survived by his daughter, Karen King Renn and husband Mike of Washington; son, Elwood Patrick King and wife Dana of LaGrange; grandchildren, Kyndal Vandiford and husband Curtis, Daniel Patrick King, and Dustin Davis King; great-grandchildren, Kelsey Lynn King and Bladen Dustin King, and the children’s mother, Eleanor Maxine King

Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., at Garner Funeral Home on Sunday, April 29, 2018. Funeral service will be at Garner Funeral Home on Monday, April 30, 2018, at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Allen Stocks and Pastor Allen Ham officiating. Graveside will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
