Fonnie Mae Jones Thigpen, 83, of Kinston passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2019.

Fonnie is survived by her husband Burnie Thigpen of the home; daughters, Rose Thompson, Debra Best (Donald) and Shiron Jenkins; grandchildren, Scotty Street (Margaret), Shannon Street (Ann), Lisa Richardson (Scotty), Donnie Best (Teresa) , Deanna Mataya and Crystal Jenkins; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Shirley Ann Smith; brother, Ronnie "Hubcap" Jones and she dearly love her church family.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 5, 2019 at 1:00 pm with the funeral service at 2:00 pm at First Freewill Baptist Church, 3297 Falling Creek Rd, Kinston, NC 28504 with Reverend Terry Coats officiating. Burial will follow at Westview Cemetery.
