Mamie Browning, 80, of Thomasville passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at her home.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee Abbott and Ruth Phillips Abbott, and husband, J.W. Browning.

Mamie is survived by her daughters, Ruth Browning Caldwell and husband Chuck of Kernersville, Robin Browning Hartfield of Jamestown, and Rhonda Browning Abbott and husband Walter of Grifton; son, Jay Wilson Browning and wife Fredda Richardson of Thomasville; grandchildren, Zack Caldwell, Ryan Caldwell, Jordan Caldwell, Trey Turner, Amy McGarry, Jessica Chrismon, Haley Wood, and Melissa Abbott; great grandchildren, Pierce Caldwell, Cash Caldwell, Tripp Caldwell, Evelyn Caldwell, Abbott McGarry, and Jack McGarry; brother, Robert Lee Abbott and wife Nell of Kinston; and niece, Kim Abbott.
