Mary "Kitten" Elizabeth (Harris) Jones

Mary “Kitten” Elizabeth Jones, 63, of Trenton passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Carolina East Medical Center.

Kitten was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed her time from playing bingo to fishing on the pier. One of her favorite things was to care for animal like feeding baby goats from a baby bottle.

Funeral service will be held 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at Garner Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Horne officiating. Visitation will be held following the funeral service. Graveside Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at Trenton City Cemetery.

Kitten is survived by her husband, Fleming “Cecil” Jones, Sr. of the home; son, Fleming “Cecil” Jones, Jr. and wife Angie of Jacksonville; daughters, Melissa “Missy” Lewis and husband Eric of Aurora and Sabrina Jones of Kinston; twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren; many brothers and sister; two special sisters, Nancy Hill and husband Charles of Beaufort and Debra Radish and husband Dan of Montana.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Minnie Harris and beloved daughter, Melody Jones.
