Remona Hill Hoffman

Remona Hill Hoffman Kinston-Remona Hill Hoffman, age 82, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. Remona retired as an insurance adjuster for James C. Green Insurance Company. She was a lifelong member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She and her husband spent many years traveling the United States and for 40 years was a member of Good Sam's Club. She best enjoyed time with her family that she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hampton and Beatrice Hill, her husband, Herbert B. Hoffman, Sr. and her brother, Cooper Hill. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening at Garner Funeral Home and other times at her granddaughter's home, 2835 Hope Drive. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Trinity United Methodist Church with Pastor Vito Bisogno officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Herbert "Belton" Hoffman, Jr. of Kinston; her sister, Cherry Elaine Parks and husband, Blaine of Littleton; her brother, Robert E. Hill and wife, Betty of Newport News, VA; two grandchildren, Amy Hoffman Morgan and husband, Hunter and Chris Luckett, all of Kinston, three great grandchildren, Trey, Kaleb and Harrison Morgan and several nieces and nephews.
