Ricky “Bud” Weldon Basden, 56, of Kinston passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2019.

He is preceded in death by his father, Delmus “Pat” Weldon Basden and sister, Cathy Joy Basden.

Left to cherish Bud’s memory is his mother, Mildred Basden of Goldsboro; daughter, Stephanie Marchand and husband John of Kinston; granddaughter, Ella Marchand; sisters, Brenda Cobb and husband Martin of Fountain and Debbie Skinner and husband Steve of Wilson; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A celebration of life will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2019 at the home of his daughter, Stephanie Marchand, 493 Kornegay Street, Kinston, NC 28504.
