Rosa Jones Obituary

Rosa Taylor Jones, 86, of Kinston passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2013. She was owner of Joe Jones Tire Service in Kinston. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Jones and a son, Justin Jones; her mother, Isabelle Carter Taylor and father, Felix Ivey Taylor; brother, Kenneth Taylor.

Survivors include her two daughters, Linda Jones, Pansy Chadwick and husband Roland, son, Vance P. Jones and wife Susan; sister, Grace Reaves and husband Fain, all of Kinston; brother, Emmett Taylor and wife, Harriett of Swansboro; grandchildren, Perry Jones and wife, Terry, Craig Jones and wife, Brandy, Jason Jones and wife, Shannon, Rolanda Michno and husband, Jeremiah, Jamie Chadwick and wife, Abby, Misty Sanderson and husband, Mike, Taylor Bielby and Brandy Rena and husband, Cory; eleven great-grandchildren, Ashley, Joshua, Tobie, Tanner, Emily, Scott, Tyler, Jonah, Alli, Cooper and Alex.

Ms. Jones favorite color was red, feel free to wear something red to honor her.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00p.m., Monday, April 8, 2013 at Garner Funeral Home and other times at her home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Garner Funeral Home with Reverend Ivey White officiating. Burial will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
