Angela "Angi" Michelle (Cawley) Cultice

Angela “Angi” (Cawley) Cultice, 56, of Kinston passed away after a valiant battle with cancer on Monday, April 29, 2024, at her home surrounded by family. She was born April 10, 1968, in Springfield, Ohio. She is the daughter of the late Harold Leroy Owings and Beverly Ann (Fenton) Kelly, later adopted by Leon Cawley.

Angi was an avid fan of Garfield (and Jim Davis) along with the TWD series. She enjoyed music with a range of artists, with Elton John, Madonna, Pentatonix, Savage Garden, and many others filling her playlists. She could sometimes be found playing Minecraft or watching her favorite TikToker, Jack the Whipper. Football was her favorite sport and she proudly supported the Miami Dolphins. She also enjoyed reading and watching sci-fi/fantasies, thrillers and horror movies. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, laughing, and enjoying life.

Angi was a beloved and devoted wife to her husband, Roger Cultice of Kinston. She was a wonderful sister to her younger siblings, Leon Cawley of Texas, Miranda “Mandy” (Seay) Thornsberry of Springfield, OH and Wyatt and Kathy (Frawley) Seay of Bellefontaine, OH, along with several other siblings. She was a loving and caring mother to her children Nikita (Miller) and John Wheeler of Springfield, OH, Ashlee Phillips of Tiffin, OH, Tabbitha Phillips of Cincinnati, OH, Kraig Campbell of Fremont, OH, Jarrett Campbell of Sandusky, OH, Benjymine Campbell of London, OH, Rayven Campbell of Sandusky, OH. She was beloved Meme of her grandchildren, Abigail, Jesse, Charlotte, and Stephen Wheeler of Springfield, OH and Eben Glen of Tiffin, OH, and her great-granddaughter Ivy Keeton of Springfield, OH. She also leaves behind many family, friends and her beloved furbabies.

Angi will be greatly missed and forever cherished. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Kinston Ward, with Bishop Jeff Howard officiating.
