Beatrice Sarah (Jones) Field

Beatrice Jones Field, 89, of Kinston, NC died at home in Leland, NC on Sunday, November 26, 2023.

She was born in Duplin County on April 12, 1934, to James and Lou Ellen Jones. Beatrice attended B.F. Grady School, was the manager of Red Grille, and retired from Roses Department Store.

Beatrice was proceeded in death by her son, Dennis Ray Davis; and her husband, Harry Field; and is survived by her daughter, Deborah Davis Skipper; four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 10:15 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 1, 2023 at Garner Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held following the visitation with Elder Matthew Tom officiating. Interment will be held at the Harper-Jones Family Cemetery, on Larry Jones Lane in Albertson, NC following the memorial service.
