Bernice "Cooter" Lee (Cole) Hill

Bernice “Cooter” Lee Cole Hill, 76, of Kinston passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at her home.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Hill; mother, Carrie Mae Jones and brothers, Jim Cole, John Henry Cole an Adolph Cole.

Left to cherish her memory is her sons, Gary “Touche” Turner and wife Pam of Kinston, Greg “Teeny-Boy” Turner of Kinston, Ricky Hill and wife Daisie of Kinston and James Hill of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Brandon Turner and wife Rachael, Blake Tuner and fiancée Mary Cole Lambert, Jared Turner, Mason Hill, Jacob Hill, Braylon Hill, Dylan Hill, Brody Hill and Kolby Hill; great grandchildren, Brayleigh Turner, Bennett Turner, Mason Hill Jr. and  Gabriella Hill; sisters, Florence Jones, Darcy “Bud” Perez and brother, Cecil Jones; and loved by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Garner Funeral Home with Pastor Glenn Turner officiating. Visitation will follow immediately after the funeral service. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Westview Cemetery.
