Betty (Mercer) Noble

Betty Mercer Noble, 80, of Kinston passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at her home.

Betty was a very loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending her time watching Cole play baseball and going to Campbell’s dance recitals. Betty was a member of Southwood Memorial Christian Church. She worked as an administrative assistant for Lenoir County Department of Transportation where she retired after 33  years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Helen Mercer.

Left to cherish her memory is her very loving and devoted daughter, Jill Price and husband Neal of Kinston; grandchildren, Cole Noble Price and Campbell Elizabeth Price; special sister-in-law, Denise Noble and husband Donnie.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Garner Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 12, 2022 at Garner Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Vernon officiating. Burial will follow the funeral service at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
