Bobby Lee Brown, 80, of Kinston passed away on Monday, May 11, 2020 at his home. Bobby was born on September 12th, 1939. He worked hard all his life and he always loved being the boss. He was a devoted husband to his wife Betty Frances for many happy years.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Potter Brown, and his parents, Zackie and Reba Hardison Brown.
Left to cherish his memory is his son Bobby Lee Brown Jr. and his wife Ronda Brown of Florence, South Carolina and his daughter Tammy Lynne Brown of Kinston, North Carolina; Grandchildren, Zach Brown and wife Natalie Brown, Kelsey Davis Murphy and husband Dalton Murphy, Cody Davis and friend Keely Gates; Great-Grandchildren, Ady Murphy, Callie Murphy, Tanner Murphy, Walker Brown, and Tynslee Brown; Brother Woody Brown and wife Pilar Sobrino of Columbia, South Carolina and their children Kevin and Juan. Some very special nieces and nephews.
A very special thank you to "Wendy's Girls" and Wendy, Amber, Ann, Colleen, and many more important women that took the very best care of Bobby. A special thank you to Amy, Heather and Seth with Hospice that was with him until his final days. Also special thanks to Missie Moody for providing extra care during hard times.
Graveside service will be held 11:00 am Friday, May 15, 2020 at Pinelawn Memorial Park with Pastor Rick Mondell officiation. May 15th will be an incredibly special day; it would have been Bobby and Betty’s 60th Wedding Anniversary.
