Bobby Mitchell Tyndall, 85, of Goldsboro passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025 at his home.
Bobby was the oldest of five children, grew up in Lenoir County and became a carpenter by trade. He worked in many places from North Carolina to Wyoming to Pennsylvania. He even worked on Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station in Pennsylvania. He retired from R. N. Rouse & Co, Inc. in February 2004.
Bobby was a member of Piney Grove Original Free Will Baptist Church in Albertson, North Carolina for 50 years. He served the congregation as Sunday School teacher for all ages, and on the Board of Trustee and as a Deacon. He also served many years on the Pulpit Committee bringing many pastors to the church
He is preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Pearl Tyndall; sister, Helen Murphy; brothers, William Randall Tyndall and Raymond Theodore Tyndall.
Left to cherish his memory is his brother, Raeford Tyndall; daughters, Judy King (Charles), Peggy Tyndall, Cathy Gibson (“Scott”); grandson, Gary “Adam” Ketchuck (Brandi); great grandchild, Kai Mitchell Ketchuck.
A Celebration of Life and reception is currently being planned for 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 22, at 2:00 pm at Piney Grove OFWB Church at 563 Piney Grove Road, Albertson NC 28508, weather permitting.
