Carol (King) Jarman

Carol King Jarman, 84, of Kinston passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at Greendale Forrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Snow Hill. She retired from DuPont after 34 years. Carol loved music and she loved dancing. She also enjoyed playing cards with her siblings.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ellis and Elsie King; brother, Billy King and sister, Joyce Thigpen.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Beverly Spann of Kinston; granddaughter, Brittany Pendleton and husband Danford of Scotland Neck; sisters, Brenda Whitaker and husband Charles of Richlands, Judy Jarman and husband William of Pleasant Hill, Jane Ferguson and husband Jerry of Pleasant Hill; brother, Ellis King and wife Kay of Albertson; care giver, Benita Monroe; special friends, Rita Bryant and Wini Ward; and many DuPont friends.

Visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Garner Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Pinelawn Memorial with Rev. Lynn Maxwell officiating.
