Cecil "Bull" Wayne Lanier

Cecil Wayne Lanier “Bull” of Kinston, NC, went to his heavenly home on December 23,2021, he was 64 years young. Bull was a man of many passions. He enjoyed such things as hunting, fishing, his children and the apple of his eye, his grandson Ryder Hale. Bull was an avid hunter and took pride in bringing home meat to feed his family. He was the most charismatic, loving, stubborn man you may have ever met. He was a protector of everything he loved, but most importantly his family. He enjoyed life to the absolute fullest, he was the life of the party, and he loved to make people laugh. He would do anything to make his girls laugh and it didn’t matter how. He would dance, pull his pants to his chest, tell a crude joke, or get his make-up done.

Bull was survived in death by his loving wife Becky Lanier, Daughter Kelly Hale and Fiancé Brad Grant, Daughter Christa Lanier, Siblings Patricia (Pat) Lanier Whitaker, Laura Lanier Marcotte, William (Pete) Lanier and wife Debbie, Brenda Jordan Lindsey and partner Rick, Gail Jordan English and Husband Rick, Leslie Craig Lanier and Wife Karen. Grandchildren Ryder Leo Hale, and Gage Grant.

He was preceded in Death by his Parents Leslie Eugene Lanier and Addie Mae Lanier, Brothers Thomas (Tommy) Lanier, and Charles Lanier.

The family ask that you come as you are to this service, Bull was a casual man who disliked dressing up.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 2, 2021 at Garner Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Daniel officiating. Visitation will follow the Celebration of Life.
