Clara "Pete" Elizabeth (Cook) Moore Dawson

Clara “Pete” Moore Dawson, 86, of Cove City passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023 at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

She is preceded in death by her brothers, Tom, Ray and Randy; sisters, Celia, Faye, Vivian, Kathy, and Lois.

Pete is survived by her husband, Ed Dawson; son, Alvin McLeon Moore, Jr. of Dover; grandson, Alan Joshua Moore and fiancée Lexi of Reelsboro; granddaughter, Gloria Cloniger (Danny) of New Bern; great granddaughter, Paisley Mae Cloniger; brother, Herbert Dillard Cook of Kinston.

Visitation will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at Garner Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Westview Cemetery with Rev. Calvin A. Heath officiating.
