Obituary
Curtis Dion West, 45, of Trenton passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at his home.
He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. One of his life passions was riding his motorcycle.
Curtis is preceded in death by his great aunt, Ella “Big Ma’ Huffman who was like a second mother to him.
Curtis is survived by his mother, Sheila Drinkwater and husband Ralph of Trenton; grandmother, Frances Griffin of the home; daughters, Makayla West of Kinston, Hailey West and husband Colby Dawson of Kinston, Alexis West of Trenton; son, Jayden West of Trenton; grandchildren, Aaliyah West, Isaac West and Greyson Childs; sister, Dana Bergeron and husband Jason of Trenton; brother, Marshal Carter and significant other John McKeever of Charlotte; and special cousin, Albert Huffman.
Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Jarman Taylor Family Cemetery in Trenton with Pastor John Christopher Allen officiating.
