Cynthia Denise (Kelly) Deaver

Cynthia Denise Kelly Deaver, 56, of Kinston passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at UNC Lenoir Healthcare. She worked with Kinston Dialysis Unit for 26 years. But most of all she loved going to the lake and loved fishing. Cynthia was an avid Scouter. She never missed a Scout meeting or campout. Cynthia enjoyed her many years of being the assistant Scout Master of Troop 244 of Pink Hill.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Anthony “Tony” Kelly and Carol F. Kelly.

Left to cherish her memory is her fiancé, Craig Croom; children, Michael Deaver and girlfriend Kimberly Everett, Jennifer Lewis and husband Joshua, Timothy Croom and girlfriend Lynn Westbrook; grandchildren, Adam Lewis, Abby Lewis, Alexa Lewis, Chandler Deaver, Mason Croom and Julia Croom; sister, Angela “Angie” Stroud; brothers, Anthony “Andy” Kelly and wife Patricia, Clifford “Cliff” Kelly, Christopher “Chris” Kelly and wife Tamorah, Emerson Kelly and wife Dedra Kelly.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Garner Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. after the visitation. Burial will follow the funeral service at Westview Cemetery.
