Deborah "Debbie" Maxine (Monroe) Jenkins

Deborah “Debbie” Monroe Jenkins, 72, of Trenton passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

Debbie had her heart full of Jesus Christ. She loved to write poems and she loved spending time fishing. Debbie had a passion for animals. She enjoyed helping others, such as being a Four H Leader and working at the social services office in Trenton.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Sonny Monroe and Mary Adams Monroe; loving brother, Danny Monroe.

Debbie is survived by her husband, Richard “Butch” Jenkins; daughter, Mary “Kristy” Ward and husband Brian Nelson; sisters, Tereasa Gray and husband Reace, Tammy Monroe Henderson; stepmother, Sara and Woody Grimes.

Visitation will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, May 5, 2023 at Agape Family Church in Trenton. Funeral service will follow the visitation at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Danny French officiating. A burial will be held at Trenton City Cemetery following the funeral service.
