Debra Smith Williams, 66, of Dover passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday, December 31, 2023 at CarolinaEast Medical Center in New Bern.
Debra loved traveling, taking “girl” trips, and playing BINGO. She loved cooking and baking wedding cakes. Debra had a very generous personality and was constantly thinking on how to help others. She would give you the shirt right off her back and give away her last dollar. You would never hear a complaint come out of her mouth, only “I’m alright”. Debra worked for 15 years at Buehler Products in Kinston.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Essie Smith.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Brandon Mazingo and fiancée Jessica; grandchildren, Gabriel “Landon” Mazingo, Kairi Coburn, Brantley Rayner; sister, Denise Lourenco and husband Manny; brothers, William “Bill” Hill and wife Janice, Sam Hill and wife Selena, Mike Hill; special nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Rivermont Baptist Church. Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. following the visitation with Pastor John Mortin officiating. A burial will be held following the funeral service at Westview Cemetery.
