Doc Allen Howell

Doc Allen Howell, 68, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Vidant Palliative Care in Greenville, NC.

Doc was preceded in death by his father, Roger Allen Howell; mother, Georgia Hinson Seymour; step-father, Oliver Jerry Seymour; brothers, York and Alfred; sister, Cynthia; and an infant sister.

Doc served in the United States Army for four years and last worked at the North Carolina State Port.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 45 years, Janice Howell; daughters, Jennifer Walker and husband Lee of Burgaw, Jessica Flewwellin of Kinston; son, David Howell of Massachusetts; grandchildren, Gabriel Flewwellin, Devon Flewwellin, Camron Flewwellin; sister, Ella Wade of Kinston; brothers, Gary Howell and wife Vicky of La Grange, Herbert Seymour of Kinston.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Garner Funeral Home.
