Edna Jones "Plug" Metts

Edna Jones "Plug" Metts, 79, of Trenton, NC passed away at home on January 22, 2021.

Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Ann Barker (Larry), Tammy Barker (Gary); grandchildren, Jennifer King (Paul), Melissa Brinson (Steve), Jimmy Eubanks, Jr. (Stephanie), Eric Barker (Dawn), Jason Barker (Kelley); 20 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren that are yet to be born; brother, David Jones; and special niece, Joyce Edwards.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents, David Jones and Bertie Jones; husband, Clifton Metts; brothers, Earl Jones, John Jones, and Rocky Jones; and grandson, Tommy Eubanks.

Edna was a dedicated employee of the Galaxy of Sports of Kinston, North Carolina for 33 years.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 25, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the City Cemetery in Trenton, North Carolina with Pastor Ruffin Hill officiating.
