Edward Earl Boyette

Edward Earl Boyette 83 of Deep Run, went to his Heavenly home Friday October 2 at Vidant hospital in Greenville NC. He is the son of Jasper (Jack) George Boyette and Angie Lanie Moody.

He was predeceased by his parents, step father Robert White. baby brother Charlie Eugene Boyette, daughter Donna Boyette, Grand daughter, Donna Marie Stallings.

He is survived by his wife Judith Boyette of the home.  Daughters Debbie and husband Gary Padgett of Jacksonville, Libby and husband Linn Ipock of Seven Springs, Son Edward Earl Jr. (Eddie) and wife Dee Boyette of Kinston.  Brother, George Boyette and wife Christine, and Sister, Marie and husband Robert Adams of Kinston. 11 grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren, many nieces and nephews that loved him dearly.  Step daughter, Julie Dunben of Georgia.He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Woodington Ward.

He served many years as Captain of the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office which he truly loved.  He is still called Captain Ed.  Owner of the Fitness Forum gym for many years

Visitation will be at Garner's Funeral Home in Kinston  Tuesday October 6 at 12 noon Funeral at 1:00  at the chapel of Garner's with Thomas Heath conducting. Burial will follow at Pinelawn park.
