Obituary
Elsie Jones Pate, 84, of Seven Springs passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at UNC Lenoir Healthcare. Elsie was a cherished homemaker for 59 years to her loving husband and children. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.
She is preceded in death by baby girl Pate; parents, Alfred and Pauline Jones; brothers, Harold Jones, Bruce Jones and Earl Jones.
Elsie is survived by her husband, Leonard Pate of the home; daughters, Paula Bunn of Hookerton and Crystal Pate of the home; grandchildren, Jeremy Pate and Halle Bunn all of Snow Hill; several cousins and numerous nieces and nephews.
A viewing for the public will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at Garner Funeral Home to come pay your last respects to Mrs. Pate.
Graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Daly’s Chapel Church Cemetery with Rev. Chris Singleton officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the ICU Unit at UNC Lenoir Healthcare for all their love and support during this time.
