Emily Stroud Obituary

Emily Jean Dawson Stroud, 87, of Trenton passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at her home. She was a member of Cypress Creek United Methodist Church in Trenton.

Jean is preceded in death by her husband, J.R. “Billy” Stroud and her parents, Marvin and Noni Dawson.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Emily Stroud Andrews and husband Franklin and Billie Jean Stroud; grandchildren, Jason Andrews, Ashley Heath and Joseph Andrews and wife Ashley; great grandchildren, Mallory, Hadley, Charlie and Dylan; sisters, Carol Killingsworth and Mickey Dawson; brothers, Wellyn Dawson and Randall Dawson and Joan.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Garner Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 15, 2021 at Trenton City Cemetery with Pastor Pat Patton officiating.
