Ethel Mae (Mitchell) Carroll

Ethel Mae Mitchell Carroll, 83, of Trenton passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Signature Healthcare in Kinston.

She loved doing crafts and jewelry and she also enjoyed collecting. Ethel Mae was a member of Tuckahoe Chirstian Church, and she loved her church family. She will be deeply missed.

Ethel Mae is preceded in death by her husband, James Carroll; brother, Edward Mitchell and her parents, Eddie and Ellen Louise Mitchell.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Sherry Lowry, Sandy Kelley, Sabina Goerler (Dale); son, Stephen Carroll (Linda); grandchildren, Timothy, Kayla, Ashley, Tiffany; great grandchildren, Landon, Evi, Sebastian; brothers, Jimmy Randolph Mitchell (Betsy).

A visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 5, 2025 at Tuckahoe Christian Church. Funeral service will begin following the visitation at 12:00 noon with Pastor Ben Berg officiating. A burial will be held following the funeral service at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
