Evelyn (Lee) Adams

Evelyn Lee Adams, 85, of Kinston passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at Harmony Hall in Kinston.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Durham Edward Lee and Mary Jane Aldridge Lee; sister, Sandra Ann Lee Moffitt Russell; brothers, Edward Earl Lee, Harold Lee, Jerry Brent Lee.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Kathy Lynn Adams Tyndall; son, Don Curtis Adams (Shelia); husband, Clarance “Dick” McCoy Adams; grandchildren, Joseph McCoy Tyndall (Elise), Joshua McNiel Tyndall, Brayden Adams, Haylie Adams; great grandchildren, Haven and Everly Grace; sisters, Linda Jane Lee Jones and Violet Paulette Lee Jones; brothers, Durham Edward Lee, Jr. and David Oliver Lee.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday, January 2, 2026 at Garner Funeral Home with Bishop Durham Lee, Jr. and Mr. Richard Parker officiating. Visitation will be held following the memorial service.
