Franklin "Frank" Donald Parrott, Sr.

Franklin “Frank” Donald Parrott, Sr., 92, of Kinston passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at SECU Hospice House of UNC Health Johnston. Frank had his commercial driver’s licenses, and his last job was a contract driver for the Post Office. He would be hauling mail from Post Office to Post Office. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed golf and being with his friends on the course.

Frank is preceded in death by his son, Jeff Parrott; wife, Vivian Parrott; parents, James and Hazel Parrott; sister, Frances Spivey; brother, Dempsey Parrott.

Left to cherish his memory is his son, Frank Parrott, Jr. of Kinston; grandchildren, Angelia Parrott of Trenton and Seleena Parrott of Trenton; daughter-in-law, Edna Parrott; sister-in-law, Marie Benton; cousins, Gerald Benton and Kevin Benton.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 8, 2025 at Garner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held following at 11:00 a.m. with Richard Parker officiating. A burial will be held following the funeral service at Westview Cemetery.
