Fred Murphy Obituary

Fred Louis Murphy, 85, of Kinston passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Hill Murphy; parents, Fred and Annie Carraway Murphy; sister, Ruth Murphy Clemons.

Fred retired from DuPont where he met his late wife, Mildred. He enjoyed fishing and flying his airplane.

Left to cherish his memory, his sisters, Geraldine Garner, Hilda Hill; brother, Horace Murphy.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Westview Cemetery.
