Helen Erelene (Edwards) Webb

Helen Erelene Edwards Webb, 82, of Kinston, left this earth for her Heavenly home on Friday, November 5, 2021.

Helen was born on August 18, 1939, in Pinetops, NC, Edgecombe County, to the late Margaret and Jeffie Edwards.  She is preceded in death by her nine brothers and sisters.

Helen moved to Kinston in 1964 with her husband, Davis, where they started their family. She was a homemaker and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Helen was a long-time member of Glen Raven Baptist Church which later merged with First Baptist Church in Kinston. Helen was an avid reader of the bible, having read it through many times. She looked to the Lord and His word for her strength.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 62 years, Davis Webb; daughters, Donna Webb McDonald and husband, Charlie McDonald, Annette Webb Turik and husband, Scott Turik; son, Reuben Webb; grandchildren, Jonathan McDonald and wife Trisha McDonald, Kenneth McDonald and wife, Brandi McDonald, Caleb Turik and Kyle Turik; great grandchildren, Adam McDonald, Nate McDonald, Aidia McDonald, Mazie Hardison and Lilly Hardison, all of Kinston.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at First Baptist Church of Kinston. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jon Hoover and Pastor Don Causey officiating. Burial will follow the funeral service at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
