Izabella "Izzy" Haziel Raines Stroud

It is with a broken heart that we announce that our beautiful daughter, “Izzy” went to her Heavenly home with our Lord on Friday, June 9, 2023. At the tender age of 20, Izzy left us too soon.

Izzy had recently graduated from high school and was looking forward to college classes in the summer session at Coastal Carolina Community College. Her family was very important to her. Her grandpa Stroud named her his Sunshine, a name she cherished. Even at a young age, Izzy was a very diverse person with her hobbies. She competed in and won the Little Miss Jones County Pageant at the age of 6 years old, and she also competed in a bull riding competition at the age of 8 years old. Izzy attended and graduated from John Casablanca’s Center for modeling. She had a passion for make-up, nails, jewelry and fashion. Izzy enjoyed her animals of all kinds. She enjoyed sail boating, swimming, the beach, and trips to the mountains with family, but the most important event of her life, was when she gave her heart to the Lord, and was baptized at age 9, at the Believer's Fellowship Church.

Izzy is preceded in death by her grandparents, Hazel and JC Stroud and Faye and Lawrence Banks.

She is survived by her parents, David and Becky Stroud; her brothers, Nathan Commons (Marie), Dwight Stroud, Chris Stroud (Ashley) and Jimmy Stroud (Robbie); nieces and nephews, Sereniah Commons, Angel Stroud-Rys (Joseph), Robert Stroud and Zoey Stroud; great niece and nephew, Aliyah Rys and Karsyn Rys; and her precious Nahla.

The visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Garner Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Banks Family Cemetery, 300 Ralph Banks Road, Trenton, NC 28585 with Pastor Roger Banks officiating.
