Obituary
Joan Johnson Jarman, 74, of Kinston passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Vidant Medical Center.
Joan was a social butterfly and loved having conversations with everyone. She spent many hours gardening and working in her yard, which was her passion. Joan was a very hard worker and there was nothing that she could not do. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren. Her family and anyone who knew her will deeply miss her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Jarman, infant son, Ronald “Ronnie” Jarman; parents, Robert Johnson and Doris Noble; brothers, Charlie Johnson and Richard Noble.
Joan is survived by her daughter, Cindy Jarman of the home and Amit; son, Donald Wayne Jarman and Melanie; grandchildren, Casey Sanderson and Eric, Josh Tyndall and Christopher Jarman; great grandchildren, Zamear Howard, Zoe Hughes, Layla Jarman, McKenzie Jarman; brother, Tony Johnson and Linda.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, July 30, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. at The Bridge Church, 1065 N. Berkeley Blvd., Goldsboro, NC 27534, with Pastor Ryan Barbato and Pastor AJ Howard officiating. A visitation will be following the service.
