Johnnie Glisten (Pate) Rouse

Johnnie Glisten Pate Rouse, 91, of Kinston passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at her home.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Carlton Douglas Rouse, Sr.; parents, Walter and Thelma Pate; brothers, Lindley Hodges Pate and Walter Clark Pate, Jr.; sister, Gwendolyn Pate Taylor and grandson, Adam Blakeley Rouse.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Carlton Douglas Rouse, Jr. and wife Janet, Kevin Scott Rouse and wife Fiona; grandchildren, Caitlin Rouse Eisinger, Jenna Rouse Payne, Alea Rouse, Douglas Clayburn Rouse, Saul Cothran; six great grandchildren; six nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Garner Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. with burial to follow at Westview Cemetery.
