Judith Evelyn (Jones) Boyette

Judith Jones Boyette, 77, of Deep Run passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Duke University Hospital in Durham.

She was a loving wife, mother, sister, friend, grandmother and great grandmother. Judith worked as a dispatcher with Ayden Police Department and later received her Associate Degree as a Surgical Tech. She also enjoyed reading, sewing and cooking.

Judith is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Boyette and brothers, Willie R. Jones, Jr. and James Edward Jones.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Julie Durden and husband Dennis of GA; son, John Romanauskas and wife Shari of Kinston; grandchildren, Devon Romanauskas, Connor Romanauskas, Madison Romanauskas, Taylor Romanauskas, Alex Durden and Ashley Durden Beslagic and husband Nedim; great grandchildren, Bentley Beslagic and Kenan Beslagic; sister, Julieann James and husband Richard; brothers, Gary Jones, John Jones and wife Patricia, Kenny Jones and Alan Jones; special niece who she considered a daughter, Marilyn Cash.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday, April 18, 2022 at Garner Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held following the visitation at 1:00 p.m. at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
