Leonard Glenn Adams

Leonard Glenn Adams, Sr., 93, of Kinston passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

Leonard was faithful to his family and friends. He was a member at Glenn Raven Church where he served as a Deacon and was a Sunday school teacher. Then later he became a member of First Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Brenda Eubanks Adams.

Left to cherish his memory daughter, Felicia Adams Haas and husband Rick of Kinston; sons, Leonard Glenn Adams, Jr. and wife Melissa of Ridgeway, SC, Travis Adams and wife Melissa of Cove City; grandchildren, Megan McLawhorn and husband Billy, Zachary Haas, Leonard “Trey” Glenn Adams III, Lillian Sharp and husband Spencer, Joel Adams, Tyler Adams and wife Marilyn, Brittany Wilson, Rylee Adams; great grandchildren, Trevor, Wesley, J.J. Pelland, Elliot, Gabriel, Lelayna; brother, Robert Adams and wife Marie; sister-in-law, Linda Woody and husband Gene.

Visitation will be at 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with the memorial service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 2026 at First Baptist Church Kinston with Pastor Johnathan Hoover officiating.
