Linda Kay (Reece) Walker

Linda Reece Walker, 61, of Kinston passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at CarolinaEast Medical Center in New Bern.

Linda’s number one priority in life was her beloved grandchildren. She enjoyed the beach and playing BINGO. Linda never met a stranger and was a friend to all. She would happily give the shirt off her back to anyone. Linda was always present at the grandchildren’s ballgames, dance recitals, school functions, church functions and anything that involved her family.

Linda is preceded in death by her mother, Marion Reece; twin sister, Brenda Kay Reece; In-laws, Leon “Boo Boo” and Rita Walker.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 43 years, Frankie Walker; father, Kenneth Reece; daughter, Tina Holt (John); sons, Chris Walker (Sarah Kennedy) and Brandon Walker (Morgan); grandchildren, Gracie, Madelyn, Caiden, Colton, Aubrey, Dylan and Tate; brothers, Kenneth “Pee-Wee” Reece, Jr. (Angela), David Reece, Anthony “Glen” Reece (Jean); daughter-in-law, Megan Walker; life long friend, Joy Foy; numerous nieces, nephews and several special cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 20, 2025 at Grainger Baptist Church, 3201 Middle Street, Kinston, NC 28501, with Preacher Larry Carter officiating. A visitation will be held following the service.
