Lindsey Harold Clifton

Lindsey Harold Clifton, 64, of Kinston passed away on March 19, 2026. He was born in Elizabeth City, North Carolina on December 1, 1961.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 26 years, Pamela Howard Clifton; son, John Allen Faulkner (Brittney); grandchildren, Lilly, Zoey, Sophie and his favorite grandson, Forest. He also leaves behind his sisters, Boni Clifton Arendt (Chris), Jonni K. Kephart (Bobby); brothers, Jerry “Jay” Clifton and John Krawczyk, Jr. (Christina). He leaves behind cherished nieces and nephews, many special cousins and close friends.

He was predeceased by his parents, Lois Patrick Krawczyk and Jerry Vaughn Clifton and the best dog ever, Bodacious.

Raised in his beloved Pea Ridge, North Carolina, Lindsey was larger than life with a booming voice and a great smile! He was blessed with the gift of gab; he could and would talk to anyone about most anything. He had his own way of doing things and if you didn’t agree with him – well you were just wrong. He spent his career in retail sales and was recognized with many awards for his accomplishments. Lindsey retired in 2024 as the owner of 258 South Flea Market and has since enjoyed working with his brother John in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. So loved by many in Kitty Hawk “The Harold” Life Saving Memorial at the Kitty Hawk Bathhouse was dedicated in his honor. Every day was a blessing to him, believing there is always a reason to be grateful, and every single day is a gift to be celebrated. He leaves behind a family that loved him dearly and will miss him more than words can express.

In keeping with his wishes there will be no visitation or formal services. Interment will be at British Chapel Church Cemetery, Sand Hill Community, Kinston, North Carolina. In lieu of flowers, Lindsey has requested that memorial contributions in his honor be made to the Cub Scout Pack 424 c/o The Clifton Family, 3583 Daughety-White Road, Kinston, North Carolina 28501.
