Lovie Catherine Thigpen

Lovie Catherine Thigpen, 80, of Kinston passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at her home. She loved fishing and spending time outside in her yard gardening. Lovie worked at the Kinston Shirt Factory as a seamstress. From there she worked as a housekeeper at Caswell Center where she retired.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Coy and Lovie Thigpen; five sisters, two brothers and one niece.

Left to cherish her memory is her brother, Herman Thigpen and wife Anna of Kinston; ten nieces and seven nephews.

A private service for her family will be held at a later date at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
