Margaret Marie (Turner) Whitfield

Margaret Turner Whitfield, 87, of Kinston passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at her home.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Ruth Turner; husband, Robert Haynes Whitfield; sisters, Betty Faye Turner, Patsy Ruth Turner and brother, Arthur William Turner, Jr.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Ellen Whitfield Lancaster and husband Tony of Moss Hill; son, Robert Haynes Whitfield, Jr. and wife Kimberly of Moss Hill; grandchildren, Courtney Marie Whitfield of Kinston, Elizabeth Jo Whitfield of Kinston, Paige Whitfield Lancaster of Moss Hill; Ashley Michelle Lancaster of Winterville, Rebecca Caroline Lancaster of Kinston; sister, Glenda Kaye Turner of Pink Hill; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at Holy Innocents Episcopal Church, 6861 NC-55, Seven Springs, NC, with Father Jon Sargeant officiating. A burial will be held following the funeral service at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
