Margie Bryan (Hill) Davis

Margie Bryan Hill Davis, 89, of Kinston passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at her home. She was a life long and active member of Sandy Bottom Baptist Church for 75 years. Margie also served as Treasure for the church for 34 years.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Carrus Lee Davis; parents, Guy, and Bessie Hill; infant son, Donald Davis; sister, Sue Belle Hill; brothers, Richard Hill, Thomas Hill, Lois “Red” Hill, Robert Hill, and Reynold “Buck” Hill.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughters, Julia Annette Davis of Kinston, and Vicky Davis Corbett and husband Ben of Leland; grandchildren, Hunter Davis Corbett, and Meredith Anne Corbett; sister, Bess “Tony” Hill Hooks of Kinston, and Audrey Hill Williams of Deep Run; numerus adoring nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, September 11, 2022, at Garner Funeral Home. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 12, 2022, at Sandy Bottom Baptist Church with Pastor Richard Mondell officiating. A private burial will be held.
