Mary Lee (Ham) Rouse

Mary Ham Rouse, 90, of Kinston passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at her home. She loved to go shopping and also enjoyed coloring in her coloring books. Her dog Jojo was her pride and joy, and until the very end Jojo was right by her side. Mary will be loved and missed dearly by everyone that loved her and mostly by her loving family.

She is preceded in death by her son, Danny Rouse; husband, Issac Rouse; parents, Harvey and Sinnie Ham.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughters, Selma Jones and husband Edward G. Jones and Carolyn Lambert and husband Delbert Lambert, Jr.; sons, James Rouse and wife Beverly Rouse of LaGrange and Tony Rouse and wife Linda Rouse of Goldsboro; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Leon Garris; special nieces, Judy Wetherington and Reba Howard; special nephew, Ricky Brown.

A visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Spirit of Life Church, 1521 Airport Road, Kinston, NC 28501. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor J.R. Sellers officiating. The burial will be held following the funeral service at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
