Matthew, or Little Matt, barreled into the world on December 15, 2011 and has been endlessly entertaining his family and friends ever since. Laughing was his favorite, and he was at his happiest when he could use his quick wit and mischievous sense of humor to make the people around him laugh along with him. Little Matt's mind was razor sharp, and he had recently decided that his future soared in the clouds, either as a jet pilot or a jet propulsion engine mechanic, while proudly serving in one of the fine branches of America's military forces.
Along with a contagious enthusiasm and zest for life, Matt had a kind soul. He loved all animals, particularly wolves, huskies, and sharks. Possessing an eye for beauty, he enjoyed catching beautiful sunsets on his phone camera so that he could re-experience them any time he wanted.
Little Matt was passionate about his interests, including anime (specifically Naruto, One Piece, and Dragon Ball Z) and video games- particularly playing Fortnite with his Dad, Matt Sr. He loved sharing his interests with others and could chat endlessly about the things that he enjoyed.
Matthew was an amazing son, grandson, brother, student, and friend. His sparkling eyes and contagious smile will be sorely missed by those who were blessed to have known him. While the rest of the world dimmed without his light, there is one thing we all know for certain- Heaven is full of laughter.
Little Matt was greeted at the pearly gates by his "Nene" Stephanie Jo Perry (paternal Grandmother), Kenneth Wayne Daniels Sr (maternal Great Grandfather), Joe Perry (paternal Great Grandfather), Randall Creel (maternal Great Grandfather), Steven "Skip" Sharp, Sr (maternal Great Uncle), Brian W. Sharp (maternal Great Uncle), and Maria Norris (maternal Grandmother).

In lieu of flowers, the family will be accepting donations in Little Matt's honor, to be donated to The Wingman Foundation, a veteran founded, all-volunteer, non-profit organization that provides immediate post mishap support to ensure our fallen heroes are never forgotten and the loved ones they leave behind are always supported. The family is also accepting toy jet airplanes for memorial pieces for Matt. Any extras will be donated to local children in the hopes that they will get as much enjoyment out of them as Little Matt did.
