Mildred Magdalene (Wilkins) Sessoms

Mildred Wilkins Sessoms, 87, of Kinston passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at her home.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Sessoms; mother, Naomi Grant; father, Leon Wilkins; brothers, Leon and David.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughters, Terry Jaye (Allen), Tonya S. Adams (Waylon); son, Steve Windham (Vickie); grandchildren, Mandi, Jessy, Nicki, Jewel, Zack, Ty, Katelynn, Isabella; great grandchildren, Michael Jaye, Penelope, Aiden, Josh, Scarlett, Arlo, Silas, Anna; sisters, Shirley and Linda.

Her family was the center of her universe, and she will be deeply missed.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
