Randall "Craig" Murphy

Randall “Craig” Murphy, of Kinston passed away at his home on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. He was a man with a huge heart and an even larger passion for life. He was an amazing deddy, brother, uncle, papa, and friend to his family who will miss his infectious smile and laughter most of all.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Mozingo; father, Wesley “Bud” Murphy; brothers, Keith Murphy, and Chris Murphy; grandparents, Dempsey Ervin Murphy, and Lottie Murphy.

Craig is survived by his wife, Dawn Murphy; daughters, Courtney Murphy, and Melissa Herring; sister, Lori Newman, and husband Frankie; grandchildren, Landon, Madison and Mackenzie; nieces and nephews, Jenni Newman, Adam Newman, Justin Murphy, Bradley Murphy, Easton Murphy, Jordan Stallings, Katie Stallings, Dustin Boone, Corey Boone, Jared Boone; sister-in-law, Karen Stallings and Wendy Boone and husband Al; mother-in-law, Edna Miller; father-in-law, Gene Miller.

Memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, October 30, 2023, at Garner Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Miller officiating.
