Ray Brown, 91, of Kinston passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Brown; daughter, Carol Lynnette Brown; nieces and nephew, Wade Brown, Barbara Staley, Debbie Gonzales, JoAnn Brown, Larry Harris; siblings, Claude Douglas Brown, Lewis Benjamin Brown, Ann Elizabeth Stowe, Christopher Columbus Brown, Kathleen Jones, Etta Louise Smith, Charles Robert Brown, Lum Brown, Bella Mae Cumbo, James Edward Brown, William Horace Brown, Mildred Minnick, David Earl Brown, Elwood Derry Brown, Betty Ann Brown.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Darrell Ray Brown and wife Brenda K. Brown of Pink Hill, NC, Julian Keith Brown and wife Cathy P. Brown of Southport, NC, Derek Lee Brown and wife Sheralyn D. Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Rivermont Baptist Church with Rev. Glassie Locklear officiating. Funeral service will be held following the Visitation. Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
