Raymond "Terry" Ward

Raymond “Terry” Ward, 73, of Mount Olive passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at his home.

Terry loved to ride his VTX Motorcycle in the mountains and loved to live life wide open. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting. Terry worked with Dupont for over 30 years. He loved his family and his  wife, Sylvia, who he had been married to for 50 years.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife; daughter, Lacy Rae; brother, Gary Ward; friend, Jeff Braxton, who was like a close brother; niece, Kelly Melissa Ward and fiancé T. Breh; cousins, Curtis Everett, Tony Everett and Ernie Everett.

Visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Garner Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Dail officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date.
