Rebecca "Becky" Elizabeth (Eubanks) Antwine

Rebecca (Becky) Elizabeth Antwine was surrounded by her family when she went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday December 15, 2024. Becky was an active member of the local Salvation Army Church in Kinston NC. She enjoyed meeting with all of the ladies who were at Home League on Thursdays. Becky loved to knit blankets for her great grandchildren. She also recently took up a class at the senior center to learn how to crochet. Becky especially loved Christmas time as it was the season to celebrate the birth of her savior Jesus Christ. She loved making homemade gifts to give to her family at Christmas, from blankets and beanies to scarves and hats she was almost always making something. She loved to bake and everyone especially enjoyed her sweet potato bread, lemon pound cake, and Brownies. Becky wasn’t a shy person and could make conversation with anyone and that person would soon become a friend. For many years she was a homemaker and often kept children in her home daycare. Children would come and go over the years, but she always kept them in a special place in her heart. Becky was dedicated to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She always wanted each one of them to know how much she loved them.

Becky is proceeded in death by her father, William Gibbs Eubanks and her mother, Leatrice Hall Eubanks; her grandmother, Belle Hall; her brothers, George Thomas Eubanks, and William Herman Eubanks.

She leaves behind her son, Gil Jarman and fiancé Crystal of Grifton; son, Greg Jarman and wife Adrianna of Grifton; and daughter, Heather Antwine of Kinston. She also leaves behind five grandchildren, Victoria Letchworth and fiancé Mack of Kinston, Ashley Jarman and fiancé DJ of Trenton, Hailey Jarman and fiancé Chris of Jacksonville, Gil Jarman, Jr. and his significant other Kayley of Deep Run, and Elizabeth Letchworth of Greenville. She also leaves behind five great grandchildren, Owen, Maxton, Charleigh, Allie, and Wesley.

A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 19, 2024 at the Salvation Army Church. Funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. with Captain Joshua Smith officiating. The burial will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park. The family is receiving visitors after services at 2129 Southwood Rd. Kinston, NC.
