Ricky Lynn Boyette

Ricky Lynn Boyette, 57, of Dover passed away Thursday, May 14, 2026 at his home. Ricky was always the life of the party. He was an avid drag racer, and he loved his fellow racers. He was a fuel truck driver for the Lenoir County school system. Ricky was a loving husband, father and grandfather and he will be missed dearly.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Betty Boyette.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Rebecca Boyette of the home; daughter, Lauren Willis of Ayden; sons, Aaron Boyette of Turkey, Dustin Dudley and wife Hannah of Turkey, Matthew Willis and wife Rachel of Ayden; grandchildren, Amelia Boyette, Clayton Dudley, Karleigh Dudley, Braxtun Hatcher.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at Garner Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at Garner Funeral Home with Pastor Danny French officiating. Buril will be held following the service at Westview Cemetery.
