Robert "Rooster" Ives

Robert “Rooster” Allen Ives, 72, of Kinston passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

Rooster is preceded in death by his parents, Walter Egbert Ives, Sr. and Emma Killingsworth Ives.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Angela Ives of the home; daughter, Emmie Ives and fiancé Ashley Johnson of Grifton; grandchild, Brendan Dawson of Grifton; brother, Walter Ives, Jr. of Trenton; lifelong friend, Marvin Andrews of Trenton; mother of his daughter, Donna Ives.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 24, 2024 at Cypress Creek Methodist Church with Pastor Pat Patton officiating. A visitation will follow after the service.
