Robert Parker Moody

Robert Parker Moody, 82 of Kinston passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh. He was a Veteran in the US Army and NC National Guard where he served in the Vietnam War and Desert Storm. Robert was a life long educator and retired from the State of North Carolina in 1997.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Alma Moody.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Vickie Moody; daughter, Jill Molek and husband Greg; son, Brent Moody and wife Brooke; grandchildren, Parker Moody, Ethan Moody, Garrett Moody, Victoria Molek, Addison Molek; brother, Lloyd Moody and wife Susan; nieces, Page Cooper and Madison Moody.

Memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, February 23, 2024 at Garner Funeral Home. The visitation will be held following the memorial service.
